Ramon van Hal
With a good dose of (international) experience in retail and trade Ramon van Hal (MEd) started working in the field of logistics in 2000. He worked for a few years as a freight forwarder and customs agent and contributed to the success of various projects in the field of logistics, marketing and innovation with an internationally operating freight forwarder.
Currently he is working at the STC Group and the Rotterdam Mainport Institute where he teaches in the topics of Customs and Port Logistics both students at vocational as well as on master level.
In 2020 Van Hal published the second edition of his first book on port logistics, ‘Havenlogistiek, over cargadoor en expediteur gesproken’. In 2022 he published ‘Douane in praktijk’, a practical guide on customs formalities.
